Long Haul LLC Successfully Passes 2026 DOT Inspection

Long Haul LLC is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2026 CVSA International Roadcheck, commonly known as the DOT Inspection Blitz, conducted from May 12–14, 2026. Through extensive preparation, strong teamwork, and a company-wide commitment to safety and compliance, Long Haul LLC completed the inspection period with zero driver violations and maintained full compliance throughout the event. Preparation Process Preparation for the DOT Inspection began more than one month before the scheduled inspection dates. Management established a comprehensive action plan involving all departments to ensure every aspect of the operation met or exceeded FMCSA and DOT requirements. Safety Department The Safety Department conducted detailed reviews of: - Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) - Medical certificates and CDL records - Hours of Service compliance - ELD records and logbook accuracy - Previous inspection reports and corrective actions Safety personnel provided refresher training to all drivers regarding inspection procedures, required documentation, vehicle condition reporting, and roadside inspection best practices. Maintenance Department The Maintenance Team performed preventive inspections and repairs on all equipment, focusing on: - Brake systems - Tires and wheel assemblies - Lights and reflective devices - Steering and suspension components - Air systems - Fluid leaks - Coupling devices and fifth wheels Any deficiencies identified during inspections were immediately repaired before equipment was dispatched. Dispatch Department The Dispatch Team worked closely with drivers and maintenance personnel to ensure: - Trucks scheduled for loads were fully compliant - Drivers had sufficient time to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Maintenance appointments were coordinated without disrupting operations - Inspection-related concerns were addressed promptly Operations and Management Management monitored preparation progress daily and conducted compliance meetings to verify readiness across the fleet. Internal audits were performed to identify potential risks and ensure all corrective actions were completed before the inspection period. Driver Participation Drivers played a critical role in the success of the inspection process. Each driver demonstrated professionalism by: - Completing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Reporting maintenance concerns immediately - Maintaining accurate logs and documentation - Following company safety policies and procedures - Cooperating fully with roadside inspectors The company's drivers took ownership of safety and compliance responsibilities, which significantly contributed to the successful outcome. Results As a result of the coordinated efforts between Safety, Maintenance, Dispatch, Operations, and Drivers, Long Haul LLC successfully passed the 2026 DOT Inspection period.
